Help with setup Please Help!!!

Hey everyone i need a couple questions answered with setting up my first indoor grow. im skeptical on how many plants i should grow 1 or 2?? i will be growing them in a small grow tent. the measurements are 36" *36"*78". I also am stuck on the wattage for the LED lighting. is 100 or 200 enough??

Hey bro
3 x 3 would fit one plant vegged and trained for 2 months, or you could fit two plants with less veg time.
I'd use 200w minimum. I'm not an LED hater or anything but I usually see better results from HPS.....(You're gonna hear this a lot)

This guy is right . HPS are still the king of the crop . BUT if you are going to buy an led , research it . alot . And whatever you do , especailly since they are still the new kids on the block , DO NOT buy a cheap set . Youll get crap led's , and hate yourself . That much I do know . I have a buddy who spent a fortune on an led setup , and well , it kinda does pretty good , and really looks cool doing it . I dont remember the brand , but dont buy that stupid UFO thing or the chinese EBAY knockoffs either . He went that route and wasted good money .

If your not sure , after research , go with the HPS . Then , depending on your game , if you make a few extra bucks along the way , play a little , or even better , see what your local hydro shop might be doing with them , if they are .

HID lights are more reliable than LEDs in my oppinion. However LED's have great potential, but i belive they still dont measure up to HID..

Honestly in a area that size i would use 250-400 w hps depending on how good my ventilation capabilities are. And if that feels like to much i would definitely go for 70-150 w hps bulb.

I used to run a 600w hps in a 3x3x6 area and even if it was tricky to get the temps correct, it worked great with cooled hood + good ventilation. anwyays 400w i think is optimal for 3x3 area. So yea u can play around with lights a lot as long as you get good vetilation. And u can get a HPS setup + ventilation for it for about the same prize as a LED panel so... well... Hid all the way

I would do 4 in a 3x3. While I haven't tried led I agree with everyone else here. Hid will give better results. Also no matter if you get led or hid you're still going to need a carbon fan and filter for smell during flowering
