Help with seddlings not growing not sure why

set up space 3ft by 4ft 7ft tall 400 w lights 2 fans to let heat out up the top 6 inch round hole to let air in 1 normal fan pointed at lights the soil mix is john innes growing compost and vermiculite 50 50 in little 6 inch paper pots 18 to 20 inches away from lights watered twice aday slightly waters left for 24 hours ph is 5,8 ive have bought some canna start i was wandering would be a good idea to start giving it some plants are about 2 inches tall the second lot of leaves are about a quater long i thought they would be a bit bigger by now ten weeks old first time grower cheers lee

if they've stoped growing, this means there root bound, transplant.

for soil grows, you want the ph to be higher than 5.8 i believe. if the plants are only 2 inches tall, I can't imagine that they are rootbound, no matter how small the pot it's in is. are you giving them nutes? what are the temps in your room?

thanks for replying the temperture is beetween 85 and 90 but when it goes into the 90se i open the door to bring it back down to the 80s i have got some canna start i was woundering to give them a dose or not im just useing normal tap water left for 24 hrs and adding ph up or down. any help on this would be apreciate.

you need to lower the temps even farther if you can, try to get them just below 80. try giving them nutes....... only 1/4 strength though, see how that works for you........ it could just be a seed too man.....

what is the NPK ratio of the compost you have them growing in....

i dont no NPK ratio of the compost im useing jonh innes seed sowing compost 50 and vermiculite 50
