help with readyness

so my trichomes look like this but with alot less brown at the very top of my plant.
But as i check down the plant their hardly milky at all.
Its uk outdoor grown an been on 12/12 for bout 3 weeks.
I wouldnt think its been flowering long enough but trichs r saying otherwise.
Any ideas? dont want chop to early an i dont want leave it too late.
Also, do i just chop the whole thing then trim buds, or just chop buds an let plant carry on.
An do i take all the leafs out from in the bud or leave them as their covered in trichs.

Thanks, Matty

keep in mind trichomes can go amber because of damage and if it only been 3 weeks let em grow my guess is most of the hairs are still white and they have quite a bit of growin to do :)
be patient

Aah, i think ur right, about a week ago i rubbed my thumb on the buds to see wot smell came out, so probably damaged.Where is the best place to keep checking? bout half way down the plant?

looks good..... and i see alot white hairs still
be patient the top buds will probably ripen first i always harvest them when they are ready then let the buds underneath ripen for another week or 2
once they start getting steady light they will plump up even more :)

if you are growing for your self you can just do a quick cure some good reading https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/8472-how-cure.html
you just don't want it to dry too quick it end up tasting like grass clippings and why waste all of this effort on smoking that right?

glad u told me bout cuttin ripe buds first, wasnt sure as every1 else seems to do all the plant at once.
Ill have a read about curing, it is for myself, thanks for your help.
