Hello All, So I checked on my girls this morning and I think I am seeing balls on one of my ladies! Could someone verify for me please. They are 19 days into 12/12 now. Seemed to be doing fine. Here are some pics. Sorry for quality. Had to leave HPS on for now.herm.jpghermm.jpgherrm.jpg If she is a hermi what could have led to this and what could/should I do? THANKS for any help.

try to keep picking them off. it may be hard to stay ahead of it, but i've read some success stories. GL

Could just be genetics, light leak, heat stress but she/he needs to go! It's hard to continue to pluck the nanners so that why I say got to go.

You can spend alot of time picking off the pods for a better end result, but Ive heard like 60% of the thc will focus on storing in the sacs for seeds.

That looks genetic as opposed to pollen sac, wait a day or so and you should see a pistil or 2 emerge from the tip.

Incorrect.

If you wait a couple days you are inviting the opportunity for the pollen sack to open up and pollinate all of your plants... Pluck them off every day if you don't want seeds... probably won't be as potent though because you will be adding small amounts of stress each time you remove the pollen sacks and also energy will be used towards creating male parts.

That is a shemale alright. If it was bananas, and later in flower I would say pick them off. Being how early it is, and they are showing straight balls and flowers, I would just chop. my 2 cents

Monoecious hermaphroditism is most likely due to grower error. Fix the problems so it does not happen again.

Deep-six them immediately. It sucks to loose plants you count on but it's not worth it. Showing both sexes this early will only end in disaster. Been there, done, that, would not recommend. To be fair though, if it were later in flowering, (6+ weeks) then it's not such a big deal, especially if it's something really special.

if chopping and starting over isn't an option, I would use Reverse by dutch master. many people will say to use dish soap instead of "saturator" as the wetting agent but I can tell you from experience that the saturator works much better than just dish soap. I ran XJ-13 once and they hermied a bit. I ran reverse and it really worked well. I wound up having a few bananas in week 7-9 but no seeds and still yielded well (4oz+ per plant in 3 gallon buckets). The plants had balls starting in week 3. The reverse worked well. Use it with the lights on and use the saturator for the wetting agent. I have used the stuff on three runs that had hermie issues in the last 3-4 years (always XJ-13) and the time I tried to use dish soap as the wetting agent, It caused a weird patterning on the fan leaves. Almost looked like a rust mixed with a burn. Only time I had that issue... good luck.. and if you can't just chop and start over, try the reverse....
