Just click on the search tab and look for PC case grows. There are definitely a couple on this site, it would probably be more efficient instead of waiting for people to post here. It is definitely possible to do with CFLs though, just need some good ventilation and lightproofing.

well all i have seen is people using full tower cases, about 24 inches or so, and i was wondering if i could get away with a mid tower case about 18 inches or so, with a lst grow more less. and pictures of what they use and have done

I know this thread is kind of dead but I still want to offer a bit of help. One can grow in a mid-tower, but you are really limited because with lighting and pots/hydro, you're looking at probably 12" max for your plants. What does this allow you: definitely LST, and probably go with an autoflowering strain.

I'm running a 24" server and I have to be resourceful and clever to make enough room for my plants in there.

Don't be discouraged though! There are several YouTube videos of people doing grows in 18-20" cases with respectable yields (for the size). Most of them did pretty much everything right and didn't cut too many corners--at least on the more successful grows.

The thing with a micro grow is that most mistakes are amplified: picked a tall plant?--it's really gonna hit the ceiling without LST. got a hot spot?--consider your whole grow overheated. Add a few too many nutes?--your soil is really saturated. Drying out of soil is going to happen quicker and a little too much water is basically an over-watering problem. The bonus is that these problems are on a small scale and thus don't need a massive remedy.

But again, there is hope and most autoflowering strains are quite forgiving.

Hope this helps!
