does anyone have any suggestions as to a good line of nutes for pure quality and heavy harvest (without messing with taste and quality too much)
i have been looking at the canna aqua range because i believe i can get the whole range locally (i live in australia)

What are your PPM's from tap? You can still use Canna you just will have to take into account the added PPM's and use less nutrients maybe all depends on what your tap is

I use a lil hygrozyme along with Ionic grow and veg with DWC and it works like a charm. No fussing around with additives ever.

Since this is your first you should keep it simple because no matter how easy people on here make it sound figuring out nutes is a BEOTCH!!!! So, I got the technaflora recipe for success kit that omes with everything you need, so when you look at the feeding schedule you already have everything you and your plants need...right down ot the cloning gel! My husband just got me a box and I am so overjoyed I could pee! lol. Anyway, I was havin a super hard time figuring what to use...there were many casualties when I attempted to use Advanced Nutrients...I am sure there are better nutes out there, but until they put it all in a box to make it easy for me screw 'em Imma stick with the Technaflora BC nutes...I don't wanna stand there shelling otu cash with a feeding schedule in my hand to make sure I have all the little stuff it says to add...because while some nutes on the schedule are just extra and unnecessary, some are totally needed and if you use one without the other you are doomin your plants...as I did with the Advanced nutrients grow formula...I saw grow A and Grow B and then I found one bigger bottle that just said grow...so my dumb ass assumed that perhaps it was both parts together...well it wasn't...it required the use of something else that I didnt' have and I killed my plants by giving them just that one part of the system...so no more...perhaps when I have more money and inclination I will try to figure my own mix but until then I shall keep my plants alive with this kit...super easy to use and everything is all in one place. I am just overjoyed at the ease! I think other companies should do the same...that way people like myself could try their products too...

I'm using General Hydroponics 3 micro to 1 grow to 0.5 bloom for veg, started at about 700 ppm and moved it up to 1100. Ph 5.5-5.8. Water temp at 72 F. Seems to be working well. Planing to go 1 micro to 0 grow to 1 bloom for flowering take it up to about 1,400 ppm then I'll flush it the last two weeks. It's a recipe off a SeeMoreBuds video, there's probably something better but it seems to work OK. I have very clean tap water and I use those aquarium decholorinator drops before I start adjusting ph and adding nutes.

Fox farm trio has been a bit of a headache but nothing major. I've heard great things about canna and I'm buying their full line for my next run for sure. Nice PH buffers in their formulas to keep things steady.
