help with neem oil

So tmrw im going to spray plants. Im using 1000w hps lights 24hrs, just wondering if Its safe to turn lights off and have my regular 60 watt ceiling lights on so plants still photosynthesize while I spray neem solution on plants or just turn them off spray, then turn them back on. Also I was wondering how long till I can turn lights back on after spraying and will turning my lights off evrytime I spray will trigger my plants? thanx

Yes, you nailed it. Don't spray them under HIDs. Running supplemental light while spraying will help so you can see what you're doing, and not interrupt the light cycle. Wait until the plants are near dry to turn the HIDs back on. Or go in and spray 20 min before lights on.

If you mix it with water, be sure and shake your bottle every now and then, the oil n water will separate

(Argument with my partner) plants are teens three feet away from 1000w hps. I should still turn the lights off an supplement with my 60watt ceiling lights or are they far enough from the lights?

36 in is hella close for a 1k anyway. I wouldn't spray that close with the lamp on.

Besides, lamp off the critters will come out.

Up to you though.
