They are in 7gal pots vegged for 3 months. Temps never go above 80 and never below 69 they only reach low numbers during night, humidity doesn’t reach over 56. It’s currently on day 36 of flowering from 12/12. They’re supposed to be 55 days. Its under a Mars Hydro 600w. If anyone could help with my trichomes that would be helpful. I’m deciding whether I should flush or not because I have a nutrient deficiency. Would it affect my yield so soon?

First off what are you feeding them and what kind of deficiency do/did you think you have/had? Flushing is a last resort.

Did you give them any kind of bud booster? Getting kinda late for that if you haven't already.

They look pretty frosty and may burst forth with lots more yet. I bet they take a little longer than 55 days to finish too. Almost all seed sellers quote shorter flowering times than what really happens. Have to judge by the way the trichomes look. I like to chop when almost all are cloudy and very few are amber. Takes forever to get amber for me and I flower under a 1000W Hortilux Super HPS.

to the best of my memory their is no sativa in blueberry OG or it immediate parents both being a stable indica

as these buds are more compact than the mom be careful of mold this time of year

tho its not attractant to many bugs

again mold can be an issue

what exactly do you mean ' My bud looks more sativa.'

I’m deciding whether I should flush or not

with another month to run and in 7 usg pots

not at all flush away

then a light feed 10 days hence with cal mag

should complete the run

good luck

I’ve only been feeding with 1 tbsp urb, And .5ml of mammoth P. I flushed yesterday put 20 gal of ro water and after 18 gal of ro water I used 2 gal with 1/2 tbsp of urb, .25ml mammoth P, 1/2 tbsp of liquid seaweed, and 1/2 tbsp of molasses. I believe that they have a phosphorus deficiency. Kinda too late lol. No one replied and I have had this deficiency for a long time and decided that I had a month maybe longer of the deficiency so I flushed, ppm was 412 after adding the good stuff. I used some, but very little nutes by general hydroponics. They’re pretty frosty, they have a really unique smell which is amazing but they’re not too pungent. After the flush they already have more trichomes. I’m kinda worried about them taking longer because a lot of the pistils are turning orange fast. I know you’re not supposed to judge by pistils, but by trichomes well I have a 10-100x microscope but it’s hard to look under and is hard to focus. I checked today a lot of the Trichomes were still clear, but there were some that were turning cloudy. I’m aiming for almost all cloudy and very little amber.

I remember seeing on a site that there are 4 different phenotypes of blueberry og by Barney’s farm. From what my buds look like they’re stretchy and fast blossoming and sativa dominant. Thanks for the reply

This late in flowering extra P isn't needed but you are adding so little with the Mammoth P that it won't hurt and the other goodies in will most likely help.

I'm not sure what urb is. I grow as simply as I can using all AN nutes with ProMix HP for my 'soil'. Don't need no damn microbes messing with my grows! :D

At this stage you could us some Epsom Salts to boost Mg and S. Sulfur is the 'secret' ingredient in good bud boosters. I use AN Big Bud for that. It's 0-15-35 with 10%S. 20 amino acids, citric and ascorbic, (Vitamin C), acids. I hate to grow without that and have tried a few others over the decades and nothing seems to work as well.

Bashers can bash but even the basic 3-part nutes from AN come with aminos, fulvic and humic acids and many other things that GH for one does not include in their base nutes. When I bought the gallon jugs of AN 3-part I have now GH was almost $10 more per jug and the AN wasn't on sale. Plus with the pH Perfect technology I have never bothered checking pH whether I'm growing in soilless or DWC but I only use RO or distilled water for both. Try doing a whole grow from clone to harvest with GH in DWC without ever changing nutes and see what happens. A buddy using GH and my DWC system failed miserably. He was trying to teach me how to grow and had never actually grown pot but had hung out with a grower who convinced him that GH was the 'bomb'. Blew up in both their faces. :D

The only other things I use from AN are Rhino Skin for silica and I feed low levels of that from seedling on up. Big Bud of course and I got a free 500ml jug of Bud Factor X that shows promise but haven't used it side by side without yet so still not ready to pay for it. Any old CalMag will do and Epsom Salts just to cover the Mg and S. Most of the others don't interest me and are very over -priced which gets the haters all hot and bothered. Name me a nute company that doesn't hype their products but at least AN is made here in Canada and the US using quality base products to make theirs. GH sources most of their salts from the lowest bidders mostly from China and are owned now by Scotts/Monsanto along with Botanicare and Gavita so I'll never use any of those.

One thing I do that isn't in any grow manual is add extra supplements like zinc, iron, selenium, B-Complex and chromium with vanadium from pills/caps I use for my own health. I grind them to powder in my mortar and pestle and add them to a plain water feed between nute feeds. The zinc IMO is especially helpful and plants use it as a catalyst for many of the chemical reactions that they need to do to make many of the things that help them grow. I feed that mix two or three times per grow in DWC too.

As an older dude I use zinc to prevent those thrice nightly trips to the bathroom too. ;) Zinc citrate is best and if it has added copper even better.

Today I bought a bag each of sheep and steer manure to grow some 'organic' CBD pot for a friend that is fussy about these things. Gonna need some sort of 'zyme product to help it work and have worm castings to add to the mix as well. I'll use my ProMix for the base as it's organic too. Did that back in '78 when I grew my first buds and it wasn't so great but I know a lot more now and that should help. :D

Flushing is unnecessary except with toxicity. Deficiencies would just get worse with flushing. Actually, scientific evidence is now saying that the end flush is completely unnecessary as well.

I went from AN to Remo and what a difference
What difference would that be and what all of REMO nutes are you using? I have the small version of their big pack with 7 bottles of stuff but haven't used any yet. Still have lots of AN stuff left but will pit the Remo against it this winter.

I have all seven of Remo’s right now using micro and bloom as the grow is for veg. I’m using up AN bud igniter, B52 Nirvana,Bud Candy and Rhino Skin and Remos Magnifical. Running PH 6.4 Feed, water, water,Feed water, water and checking runoff every time. To me the lights are the biggest difference 6500 LED WATTS. Happy growing. Using up AN as per Remo customer service and no problems at all. Oh and in 5x5 tent with TnB co2. Stretch was unreal.6” AC infinity exhaust and 2 x 4” intakes as fresh air also improves yields.

So you're using a mix of Remo and AN then? So you can't be sure what is making any difference good or bad then.

I'm doing a side by side grow using two identical Monkey Banana Kush clones off the same mother in 4gal pots of ProMix HP. One is getting AN 3-part with Big Bud when the time comes and the other is getting Greenleaf MegaCrop 2.0 1-part dry nutes plus the Greenleaf Carbo, P/K and k supplements I got with the prize pack I won in a contest here over a year ago. Instead of Carbo for the AN plant I'm using unsulphured blackstrap molasses for a carbohydrate source. Both clones got a shot of DynoMyco at the base of the roots when transplanted so carbs are good to feed them with.

Common things like CalMag, Epsom Salts or mineral supplements will be shared equally between the two so all things are equal other then the brand of nutes used. I could have done 3 and added the Remo to the experiment too but I can do that later. I won the Remo at a draw they held at a hydro store I shop at.

The main advantage to the AN nutes is the pH Perfect technology. I love never having to check the pH and am not checking pH with the other nutes either as we gotta be fair. Plus I tested them when I first got them and the MegaCrop comes out at 6.0 in RO water which is what I only use with my plants so that's good enough. Using my pH 8, 400ppm tap water from my dugout it came out at pH6.5 which would be OK too but that water sux so I don't use it on my plants or drink it.

So far they both look much the same in height and growth but the AN one is a bit greener as the mix I gave it was 470ppm and the other was only 380. I mixed them both up going with 1/2 strength from what the max was and that's what I got. May have to feed the MC one a bit heavier to even things up.

are you in veg or flower, I’m now18 days into flower and have never seen what I’m seeing. What lights you got? Cuz I know that’s the biggest issue for a nice crop. 6 plants 5’ high LST so I have over 450 tops on all plants SLH CBD is rocking GG,JH and Blueberry also rocking but until the end then I will know. I have 3 SLH going and one of each of the others. But hey I’m not kicking anyone I’m just switching nutes as cost is unreal Remo vs AN and only have 7 vs 19 AN.
will keep ya posted and pics would gimme an idea of your garden!
cheers Richard

I'm in veg atm. Along with those two have 5 more of them in smaller pots, one fem auto CBD girl in deep flower and 14 other plants in 3" pots for a year that desperately need repotting real soon so I can flip some to flower. All under a 600WMH for now but have SHPS bulbs for all 3 - 600s and a couple 1000W and 4 - 400W lights as well.

AN 3-part are no more expensive than any other 3-part and all I use as supplements from AN is Big Bud and Rhino Skin for a little silica. You don't need all that other crap. It's actually Remo CalMag I bought a year ago and now have an extra 250ml bottle of it in that nute pack.

Here's a fresh pic of the grow room. Auto girl in the square pot and the neglected small potted ones in the centre. The two big pots have the test Kush and the rest of those are to the left of the square pot. Need to get organized. lol
