Help with my LST

I LST'd one of my plants today, the problem is that i didnt fill the pots to the top so now she doesnt have alot of space to grow in the horizontal, as you can see in the picture. Is it OK or should i untie her ? Also, is the red string in the right place ? She will prolly start flowering soon since its an auto so im wondering if it will hurt the growth in that node.

The plant appears to be VERY small... may I ask how tall it is, and for what reason you're doing LST when the plant is so small?

I am not a auto grower but I have seen growers on this site say not to lst or top autos because they don't have the time to recover from the training and it will reduce yeild

Would you rather him start when the plant is 3' tall and the stem is too thick to start bending properly? I was more concerned about the small pot then the small plant.

looks about 5-6'' from the soil.

Its only 2.5 weeks old. Afaik the sooner the better, before the stem gets too thick

You shouldnt TOP autos, yes, but LST is perfectly fine

LIES Auto's love LST and YES they can be topped as long as you do it at the right time. You must not go to the Auto forum on this site too often cause its talked about almost everyday, plz never give inforation without doing the proper research bud. Thats not helping people at all....

I wouldn't rather him do anything... rather, I was just curious, hence why I asked a question and didn't try to provide any advice.

I've heard many, many people saying otherwise but whatever, can we stay on topic ?
I do apologize hun, i talk very bluntly and straight to the point, at times it sounds abrasive. But its not really meant that way.

untie her, you can still transplant if your careful then re-lst where yo were before but dont try to jostle the stem or correct how its growing just leave it the way it is so you can pin her down in the same area. Do you have perlite or anything at the bottom of the pot? If your comfortable with this it should work, You know how to transplant, so act like you are but when you take the plant and root mass/soil out of the pot just fill the bottom up ad put the plant back in. I've done similar to a few of my plants before and they were just fine. Sry got derailed with the Auto's i spend most of my day in the AF forums on this site and have a thread for them so i got all into auto mode in your thread my bad once again.

Welcome to RIU btw :)

how big is the pot ? you could slowly pull it to the side of the pot and poke holes in the rim of the pot in 2" intervals
then as it grows taller tie it down around the rim of the pot not tight just pulled down slowly then it wont take up more room than the pot size
you can top auto's it increases how long it take to finish
ive had luck with them vegging longer from doing this

pic didnt work so i have no idea about the topic
but i can post pics of my current grow they are lst'd in the manner that im talking about
