Help with my hydroponic, General Hydroponics recipe

So pretty much I've only done soil in my past six years of growing, with the exception of one super small hydroponic setup they didn't go so well in the beginning. LOL. But wanted to try it again.

So I'm running a 4 by 8 table 600 watt lights, 50 gallon Reservoir I have them in cubes about a foot and a half to three feet tall three different kinds, Super Silver Haze, stardawg, and Starburst.

I'm 23 days in right now, I change my reservoir every 10 days and top it off every 5 days. I'm using the 3 part General Hydroponic line with B'cuzz Bloom.

They're looking pretty good right now, very healthy and decent sized buds developing, but was wondering if anyone had any advice of what I could add to improve this recipe? Not trying to go crazy expensive or get too high in the PPM. The PPM right now are at 1040-1080..... Ph 5.5.

Other than switching nutes to ones not owned by Scotts Miracle-Gro/Monsanto and getting something/anything else you seem to be doing OK so no one has anything helpful to say including me. :D

Lol well now understanding you're not a fan of him or his Brands, LOL. You really wouldn't add anything to that recipe? Cuz just by looking at it so far I feel I'm going to end up with a nice yield, but I'm used to them being a little more crystally at this stage. A few more sparkles on the buds then what are there at the moment.

I use silica for healthier plants and frostier buds but it's a bit late for you to be adding that now but it might make a difference.

For bloom I've used AN's Big Bud for over 10 years and start that a week before I flip to flowering. This batch of plants I'm flowering now is also getting Bud Ignitor for a trial run and I'm liking it so may add that as a regular thing. You can use both of those with your GH nutes but the Ignitor is for the first two weeks and pricey as hell. I get the Big Bud powder as it has a longer shelf life so the 500g jar I bought recently should last a few years.

At two and a half weeks you are still getting through the stretch and most plants start packing on the weight and frost after that so I wouldn't worry too much yet. A dose of BB wouldn't hurt and it can be bought in smaller amounts and fed up to 5 or 6 weeks for good effect.

You say 600W of light but not what kind of light. You'd need two 600W HPS lights to properly cover that much space so maybe you're under-powered for your setup. Once I get around to setting up my 8x4 tent I'll be using a 1000W MH/HPS to light the whole tent but will have it on a 6' light mover to spread the love around.

Yes they are HPS. I've been growing for 5 years so I know the basics, LOL. This is just my first hydroponic run and I wanted to be safe than sorry which is why I went with the basic General hydroponic line. But yeah I might try some big bud, but from what I know that won't help with Crystal development will it?

It helps a lot with bud and crystal development. I had run out my 2nd to last grow and used some Part B hydro powder from Nutrilife that has a similar NPK ratio as BB with some chelated micro-nutrients but none of the aminos or other stuff BB has. Like I'd given them nothing to bloom with at all in comparison. Was the 4th time in a row I grew that strain from the same mother but the first one without BB so I knew it was lack of the BB that made the difference as everything else was the same.

I'm sure yours will start frosting up soon and be all shiny at the end. That B'cuzz stuff should do the trick.
