yea, you won't need food for 3-4 weeks. in fact your soil already has food in it. and when you do start feeding make sure you start slow and build up to full strength. anotherwords, if the food calls out for one teaspoon per gallon, start with 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. then the next time you water just use water and no food, then the 3rd time give it 1/2 a teaspoon per gallon, then water then 3/4, then water ,then the full amount. the reason for the water each time in between is to wash out all the left over sodium and other build ups from the food.
some people will say MG is the devil.... don't listen to them. it works fine if you use it slow. and remember some strains don't like alot of nutes. i have one strain from nirvana called bubblelicious. I can't get above 1/2 the suggested amount or it will burn. some strains are just more sensitive.
but for now just water it everytime your soil starts to feel dry. in a small container like that, i water almost everyday, but only 1/2 ounce a day(like a half a shot glass) or maybe a full shot every other day.... kind of depends on how humid it is in your garden. it's good to be around 50-60% percent. mine is in the 30-40% range right now so i need to water more often.
just keep it slightly moist. you don't want it wet all the time and you don't want it to be dry ever. just practice on the happy medium. and don't get discuraged, and try to have patience. it will come to you! before you know it you will be able to read your plants in seconds. trust me, it just takes a little time.
and keep watching that new growth, those lower leaves won't even be needed once it grows up.
