Help with making auto seeds

Hello Guy's and Gal's .
Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction how to make seeds from my auto's?
I have Dutch Passion Think Different and i love them great smoke and heavy yield-er ...
I would love to keep them for longer, and as we know cloning auto's it's a no go, so my second option is to make my own seeds of of them and i was curious about the whole process ... any help would be highly appreciated , thank you.

I use STS and spray the one you want to use and waite 3 wks and plant the autos you want to pollinate. Or collect the pollen and dust them when you want.

1 male plant+1 female plane=hundreds of seeds. If you need the basics of reproduction explained to you, you have bigger issues. Now, if you want to know about producing feminized seeds, i can't help you, look into colloidal silver, you can make your own with a battery and a silver coin.

Tnx for reply Mike4c4.
That's what i thought about doing it .... and i would like to collect the pollen for the future seed production .... do you have any specifics when to start spraying STS and when to stop?
If i would decide to run another Auto with STS sprayed one to pollinate that Auto plant do u know what to expect when it's coming to the seed count?

WeedFreak78 , i know the basics my brother .... but tnx for an input anyways ,,, the thing is my Auto's are feminized so i don't have male plant so i had to go STS route.

Best of luck to you both Mike and Freak and tnx for reply.

if you only want a few seeds then colloidal silver. If you want to collect pollen then STS is the way to go.

I use .5 grams silver nitrate and 2.0 grams of sodium thiosulfate in 1 litter of distilled water. it will turn brown. spray on the plant as soon as it shows sex. 35 days later tones of flowers bud growth will stop. after sprayed it will turn light yellow and 14 days it will green up and start growing again.

Thank you for that info ....
i will post what i found on other RUI thread about STS timing application...
You need to start the STS application a week or so before the flip to 12/12.
What you are trying to do is halt the ethelyne production, which makes female flowers, so the only option is for the plant is to put out male flowers. Do it a week or two before flowering and a couple of weeks after the flip to 12/12 so the plant makes male flowers instead of female flowers in the designated places. Collect pollen, pollinate.
mike4c4 brother do you think that is correct?
The reason why I posted that cut off from a tread on RUI is to get opinion on timing when to start and when to finish spraying ... above is 12/12 schedule for normal plants but i would assume that for autos would be the same ....

Yes it would be the same. Just pop an auto bean 2-3 weeks before the rest to collect pollen from so it'll be spitting pollen right when your other girls are ready for it. It'll cover the time the plant is going all Wtf and growing/maturing nanners.
If you want a lot of pollen just rig something to catch it all with as the nanners break open and it drops. Just make sure to have your pollen producer completely segregated from your main area. Also dont have a fan in there lol. In all honesty you can have your pollen producer in a bedroom next to a sunny window and it'll perform its job. You don't need to go all nuts and make a whole new set-up for it or anything.

yes I know in right. I use it all the time. and as far as timing normally you spray 1 time before you put it into flower but for autos spray as soon as it starts showing its sex(white hairs).

This is a site for it. http://www.budresearch.com/product.php?xProd=35&jssCart=18903528e79395d66615aca45586b564
i bought this and mixed it like it says, and it was a hit and miss. But if you get it from ebay and mix it like i said it works great and cheaper. Ive been using it for over a year. PM me and i can help more.

Anyone know about crossing autos, got an og kush auto from Dina and critical ak from expert seeds. Interested in going colidal silver route, that should make them fem seeds, but will cross be 100% auto like both parents? Anyone crossed 2 different auto strains?

since the og kush is a f1 not all seeds will be autos. although all would carry the auto gene I would expect 25% to be true autos on the first cross. Now when you grow out the 25% that were auto and dust it with the SAME pollen then you will have 100%fem auto. Hope that is as clear as mud. LOL Auto breeding is a pain

No it's very helpful actually, planed on doing two outdoor auto grows spaced a month apart will isolate two plants and save pollen, and finishing breeding indoors. What about a straight critical x critical cross?, better chances then 1 in 4 of getting pure autos then crossing the two? Am working with 200w clf 150w clf indoors so space is limited that's why I am wondering. Thanks for the info

No they are a f1 and not a pure strain. Now if you spray a plant and and let it pollinate its self NO CROSSING then those seeds will be 100%fem auto. If your just wanting to make seeds so you dont have to buy more then self-pollination is what you want to do, and not crossing. To do a good cross and lock it down can take years. Most pollen chuckers only end up making hermaphrodites.

I've heard that spraying a fem seeded planted causing it to turn male cause hermies, what happens if you pop a crossed seed to find a non hermie female then cross it back with the male erasing the hermie traits or adding them?

I usually just put the plant I want to breed in front of a mirror. Not a tiny mirror so that it can't see itself very well but a nice big one. When it sees itself it thinks that it is another plant and it will mate with it, viola, the seeds it produces will be autoflowering.

If you take a fem. plant of a good stable strain and spray it with (your choice of spray) it causes heavy stress to the plant which causes it to (hermie under heavy stress). That is why when people grow a plant If all goes well then no hermie. But if they stress the plant with light issues, nutes issues, ect then there is a chance of then hermie.
