help with light timer

So i just got this light timer and just wonderin if anyone can tell me how to set it to 12/12 i want it to turn on at 6am and off at 6pm

I pushed all the little pins down to the time i want it on\off and put the thing to timer but the light doesnt go on

Each segment that switches in/out represents 15 minutes.
Pressed in is "off" and pressed out then your light is "on"
(...or the other way around...)

Its one way or the other. Mess with it and youll figure it. Did you plug it in?

there should be a switch on the side for you to put it on timed,off or constantly on
