help with light setup... need a pound

How does spending 250 not justify getting 3-7 more oz. You will be able to use this set up again and again.

I dont have the money to buy a co2 system... I can just grow them taller and just grow more.. maybe in the future I will get a CO2 system, but not now... 3-4 oz just from that sounds like a deal to me though... lol... I waaaasss going to set up my HPS light to put in there along with the MH (for a total of 800w), but my cat chewed through the cord for my HPS socket... stoopid poose cat... haha... Im going to buy one today

Nah bro, you won't get your pound, even if you were to grow them taller. Taller growth means less intensity for bottom-growth. You end up with bigger, fatter buds, but less quantity.

And combining the HPS and MH lamps should increase your overall lumen output. Also, by combining both bulbs, you create a Hortilux-type of bulb that covers both blue-and-red lights of the spectrum.

So, they will get taller and they will be denser (at the tops).

If you want to go for quantity over quality, then add another light vertically so you can cover some of the undergrowth. Mylar does an ok job, but not extremely well.

taller growth means more places to bud at... and the lights are very close to the plants because my setup has them stay super cool... Im getting alot of light to them, and reflecting it on all sides... Even if I dont get a lb, I will for sure get more bud if they are bigger than right now...

1 lb off 800w? i could do it, so could you. even without CO2. i pulled a lb off 600w in a 3 X 3. 1 HPS bulb.

i've been hearing that running MH while flower with HPS is beneficial. i would run them both.
