Help with light dep

In the process of vegging some clones until their about 24" tall. When they reach that height I want to put them outside and flip them into flower by doing light dep. I was wondering how big of pots I should use? Does anyone have experience with this? I was going to do 50 or 75 gal but I don't know if the roots will spread that much and using SS I need them to reach the bottom half of the pot.

Yes i plan on using Super Soil. With such a short run, having it be only 8-12 weeks, would I be better off with all base soil and mixing my own nutes or will 50/50 SS be fine? Also, why tan pots instead of black?

Keep an eye on a couple of the light dep grows going on right now on RIU, they should answer many of your questions, and probably bring up some more. By using 24" plants & flipping them you should wind up with about 48" plants, give-or-take 6". So your plants won't be big enough to need large pots. 10-15-20 should do fine. Do you have a structure to grow in? Something to pull a tarp over?.....pic's would be nice

Thanks, I'm following yours along with one other. But Yes, I'm in the process of building two PVC greenhouses.(will post pictures when done) one 20x60 and one 16x48. Going to make one a full season greenhouse with 200gal pots and one for light dep. Want to see if two light deps or one full season produces more. Started vegging late for this dep but the following one the plants will be much bigger when flipped.
