Strawberry cheese auto-flower, in FFOF with added Gaia green 4-4-4. First time adding ferts since before germinating was just 6 days ago, so just really starting to hit the plant. There is earthworm casings added too. Never seen this before, and all the googlable things, couldn't find exactly what this is. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like early magnesium deficiency- rusts spots can appear as flower pull more.

Dry fertilizer can breakdown anytime between a week or 3-4. Epsom can be a simple fix. However …. What is your water source fir your grows ? And the ph used.

Tap water.....From a town well. PH generally around 7.5-7.8. but haven't ph'd in last 2 grows.

It flowered and grew way quicker than any other plant that ive grown since switching to organic. Im thinking I may have been a little late with first fert.

It could be the medium’s ph buffers are starting to wane since plant is deep into growth. A simple workaround would be to begin to PH that well water to 6.7 as your 7.8 is a bit more alkaline. That alone would skew uptake of some elements .

Will give that a try starting next watering tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. And I put a bag of epson salt on my grocery order tomorrow, just in case.

Ph'd my last 2 waterings down to roughly 6.8. I did add a tbsp of epsom to the watering before last. The rust spots have seemed to stop, and dont seen any new spots on leaves so far. So hopefully that is taken care of. Now, wondering about this.... Is this darkness something to be worried about. It has only started since the epsom salt watering. This plant is throwing me for all kinds of loops. Thanks in advance for any help. ;-)

Looks to me like the plant is taking on it's fall colours. Gonna have some purple.

Awesome job! Good looking plant! Caught that magnesium deficiency early.
You can also use organic black strap molasses to help keep magnesium in the soil. It will also help lower your waters ph naturally!
