Help with humidity

hey guys, run into another problem. The weather where I live is currently very humid during the night, which is also when my light is off in my tent. The humidity and temp outdoors ranges from 55-70% & 18-22 degrees C during the day and 70-90% & 14-17degrees C at night.

the climate in my grow tent is slightly different but still not in a good range at all. With the light on my humidity sits around 58-68% and with lights off it sits in the 70’s. I know, not ideal. Temps are fine in the tent. The only way I have been able to keep the humidity within that range is with my reverse cycle air con unit which is usually running the heater.

I have a small dehumidifier in the tent and a 100w floor fan which is super powerful as well as a 4 inch exhaust which is setup outside of the tent taking air out of the top and placing it outside through a window. Is there anything else I can do or has my weather outside ruined me? Thanks

you'll find that high humidity won't bother most strains you just have to be careful from mold.i have a basement grow that's always 90 plus humidity and they grow fine.try a bigger extraction fan if you can

Was thinking maybe another fan to be used as an intake. Would that help?

I think you will want the dehuey lowering the humidity of the room the tent is in vs in the tent itself and pulling in that drier air to use.
The dehumidifier only extracts like 500ml a day. I think it’s just not big enough for the apartment I’m in. I think I need to invest some proper coin in a good one. Just sucks because I just bought this one and it was $120 but ah well lol

High humidity levels just aren’t as bad as people may think. Adequate air flow will prevent any mold issues. I run 60-65%rh all the way to the last 2-3 weeks before harvest and have absolutely no problems. Stagnant air is where mold can wreak havoc on crops.

Thanks for the info, I’ll turn fans up to highest speeds!
