Hello! I'm sorry as I'm sure this has already been asked before, but I haven't been able to find it.
For a micro grow with 1 plants, what wattage do you need for flowering on 2700k?

Depends how big the plant is really. You want enough light to cover your whole plant. I'd say a 105w at least.

Alot of people say use blue for veg and red to flower but the best thing to do in my opinion is both. The sun has a broad spectrum from morn to night so should you. ps the more lumens the better wattage is electricity pay nomind to it

micro grow you may be better off with just 5000k bulbs.
reason saying this it very hard to cool 2700k bulbs in small areas.
5000k will give you a bit of blue and red spectrum.
lastly start with 2700k plant will be much more stretchy than if using 5000k not to desirable in a micro grow.

yo naturalorganic figure up lumen/watt on any bulb see which are most efficient.
other factors play into this also how many fixture can you use? how your growing plant lst or straight tree?
tree needs much more side lighting than lst/scrog. efficiency is not always the answer.
figure out your style of grow and what you can cool figure out what works for you.

efficiency
18w = 1000 lumens/18w= 55lumens/watt
23w = 1600 lumens/23w= 70lumens/watt
42w = 2700 lumens/42w= 64lumens/watt
105w = ~7000lumens/105w=67lumens/watt
200w = 12000lumens/200w=60lumens/watt.

link to my cfl grow any questions feel free.

I'd say 1 42w (or 2x23w) 5000 or 6500k CFL plus 3 42w (or 6x23w) 2700k bulbs for flower. If using 23w, then try using a Y adapter to run two off of one socket, or get those sockets that plug straight in to a 2-prong socket and put three of them in a line on a cheap 6outlet power strip. One of the benefits with 23w is you can put them around and below and even in the foliage to illuminate the lower part of the canopy.

Sounds about right, I'm currently using 1,000 actual mixed for 3 4 footers in 5 gals...although now they are mid-flower so switched to mostly 2700K and added ultraviolet tanning bulbs.

:peace:
