Good afternoon all! Happy football Sunday!
So I am a CFL grower and recently harvested the first of my seven plants. It had 7 colas and weighed in dry at 18g, so the nugs are fairly small for colas.
I trimmed my branches, hung them to dry for 36 hours, and afterwards the stems are snappy (not fully dried or brittle) and the outside of the nugs were firm. It was dry enough I smoked a test bowl with no problems.
So into the jar they went this morning. My question is, I have been burping the jar every few hours, and my buds are pretty moist again. Not unsmokable, I tested another small bud to make sure it wasn't *too* wet... but I am wondering, is this normal?
I have the lid off the jar in my cupboard for a few minutes to let some moisture out. But should I let em sit out and air dry for a few more hours and put them back in? I don't want crispy weed, but the last thing I want is to have it mold.
I've never really done a true cure before. I have grown outside for years and after harvest we just hang dry it and then throw it in paper bags for a month...
This is all new to me
