Hey guys I have a trial version of Acid Pro 6 I was using a while back. I am getting back into it and would like to start using the software. Their was a key gen but for some reason its not working. So I have only 30 days to use. I see this software RUNASDATE, which allows you to use trial software forever. It runs the program at the same date and time over and over again. I installed Acid tried the key gen activation code etc. Then I installed the RUNASSAFE to run the acid pro. My question is since I already installed ACID PRO it and messed with it. Can I still use the RUNASDATE because now I get an expiration date. I hope I dont have to do a fresh reinstall of my cpu to get rid of the acid pro. then reinstall it again using RUNASSAFE . ANY help would be great. THANKS PEACE!!!

I have been using Acid Pro since 2005. I don't admit this proudly but I have tried similar things to hopefully gain the full software at a really reduced price :)

My advice would be don't waste your time. Any software company that produces millions of dollars a year in software, is going to make sure they get every last penny squeezed out of it.

Acid Pro is a genius piece of software. It will detect that software and you will find out that you will wish you have never attempted it. I am not exactly sure where, but somewhere within its kernel is software instructions to run in "real time" meaning the software must get positive certification that it is running at time/date of computer utilizing it, and that authentication come from the computers registry and won't accept anything other than ( ie, software)

Hope this helps. Your best bet would prob be ebay to find a used copy or possibly something refurbished. Its a amazing software, I recommend you just buy it :)
