Hey guys, I'm a newbie to indoor growing, been growing outdoor for a few year. have a question about my clones. So I took cuts a bit over a month ago, had a 95% success rate and once I got a good root system I transplanted into solo cups.
These clones have been packed tightly together in a small tent in solocups for about 3 weeks vegging beneath fluros while awaiting to be transplanted into flower room. They spent much longer than I anticipated due to some unforseen issues that came up with life, work and family in those cups.
The issue is, in those 3 weeks they have grown fairly tall (around 3 foot). Due to being packed in so tightly they are not bushy, just tall. My question is, can I just go ahead and transplant into 2 or 3 gallon pots and cut the plants back to around the mid of the plant or the base? Basically topping them but much further down the stalk. There's some shoots on the bottoms of the plants so I assume they will be just fine once transplanted and established roots form.
Or would I be better off to go through the whole clonging process and start over? (I hope not)
It wouldn't be such an issue if I didn't have height restrictions in my flower room but since I do I need to keep them short and bushy as possible.
