nasty little guys i had to plant under netting to prevent the adults from finding the plants. i did it in a regular garden where i put netting over everything that caterpillars would eat. kale, broccoli, cabbages, tomatoes. they dont like soap sprays or neem or cedar but that doesn't eradicate them. nematodes can eat them when theyre young but that is somewhat tedious and mostly just expensive. if you put a cage of any sort around your crop and cover with insect netting youll be a happy camper. it doesn't reaaaaly reduce yields from partial shading but i mean yea it does somewhat. just the way things go sometimes.

Find em and kill em is the best solution to caterpillars I know in any garden situation, every minute you wait is a better fed caterpillar

100'x 8' white netting is around 100$ or less and will cover a large personal garden. just cut into sheets and wrap around the cage skeleton

You can safely spray BT until the day before harvest. The worms eat the BT and they die.

For future grows as a preventative measure. Start spraying BT during veg all the way up to a week before harvest. Spray every week.
