Right, I get the difference but that doesn't negate the argument that seeds have no THC and until one pops and grows to the level of .03 there aren't any laws being broken.they are the same species that is true. but there is actually a big difference between hemp & cannabis seeds.
to be considered hemp, thc levels of the seed's finished/dried product have to be less than 0.3%.
growing hemp seeds/smoking hemp will not get you high. it has been bred to have no thc.
growing cannabis seeds will grow flowers that get you high. really high hopefully. it has been bred many times to create beautiful, potent cannabis
I get that there could be viewed as some legal gray area. I don't personally but even if one did the odds of first being caught and then prosecuted is so low I think one could say it's almost risk free. And way less risky that actually growing cannabis as I'm assuming the OP is planning on doing.
I guess my point in all of this is put the risk of buying seeds in perspective, if that makes sense.
