help with beginner nute recipe

hi im looking for advice on a nute recipe. currently i use AN 2 part sensi bloom/grow along with r/o water .i use big bud during flower between weeks 4-6. i was using hygrozyme with the mix but that has been canceled, i would like to add bleach at 8 drops per gallon to keep things clean in the res . is this good enough to grow with .im i missing anything here? im growing with 4x4 flood and drain tables in hydroton

anything in your reservoir is going to be in your roots. Bleach??

after reading the thread on the next page titled "bleach instead of H2O2" i ve decide to add bleach to my res

To each his own on the bleach. As far as nutes go, I use Dutch Master. They have an online interactive nutrient calulator that makes it a snap.

Your doing just fine. Chlorine is jsut Fine. there is no gain to using Dutch masters over simply using any of the quality Two Part nutrients. If you notice below The Dutch Master, GH and AN produvts are nearly alike except the Dutch master is too lighton iron so you must use their fioliar nutrient that contains extra iron. However then you are supplying excessive nitrogen phosphorus and potassium. Your roots will m nottake up the chlorine from the nutrient water.

You are doing just fine. Chlorox is fine. Your roots will not take up the chlorine. Your only talking about using 2 ppm or less. Even then chlorine can be tolerated at very high levels by mj plants. It is chloride and chlorite that plants can not tolerate. Consider this. I assume you know about how big a gram of powder is. Now figure 1/1000 th of that added to a full liter of water. That is 1 ppm.

As far as the Dutch Masters: It is average and overpriced. It is really not different enough from the other major manufacturers formulations to matter except that it is short on chelated iron. They expect you to buy a supplemental foliar spray in order to get the acceptable levels of iron. However this means over supplying other nutrients leading to overly lush growth.
