Help with autoflower watering schedule.

Currently have 3 autoflowers. 2 auto ultimate and 1 white widdow and I'm kinda struggling with the watering schedule.

The auto ultimate are both in 20l pots and the white widdow is in a 10l.

I am currently watering twice a day 2 hours before and after the lights come on and go off. Around 20% run off.

Sometimes they look a little droopy and i just wanna make sure I'm not over or underwatering them before I carry on.

P.s at the time of these pictures I had left a friend to water and he didn't drain the drip tray after feeding so it had a good 1-2 inch of water in. Could this be the reason for it also.

Kinda new to it all so I'm just learning anything and everything I can.

Thanks in advance ☺

Why are you watering that size of plants twice a day is my first question?

You used the word feeding, are you adding nutes as well? What are these plants growing in?

Learning anything and everything you can requires some effort on your part. Fire up a search engine and look for the basics of growing an autoflower

I've basically sat on YouTube and Google since I started a month ago lol its just im a bit dumb with some things lol.

I'm feeding nutes with every feed yeah and its in coco coir. After a bit of a look up I think I possibly was watering too much at a time. Its recommended twice a day but watering when 90% wet and saturating it still. Im not sure but I'm going to try lower the volume of water i feed to start with.

Just incase I'm using

2ml calmag
2ml micro
1ml grow
2ml bloom to each gallon of water

No idea. This is my first time and now you mention it it is kinda common sense but yeah. Im kinda dumb sometimes especially with things like that.

So you suggest just once a day or is it like subject to the plant itself or how dry it is.

I don't see any need to water twice a day... that qualifies as over-loving and smothering.
If you're watering to 20% runoff you're leaching out nutrients so that is also not good.

If you can't lift the pots to use weight to gauge when to water, then use the finger test.
stick your finger in the soil, it should be dry up past first knuckle before you water.

Ok. I have a net so ill use the finger technique. I guess I've just been watering way too much. At least I know for the future

Thank you-

You mentioned leeching nutrients at 20% runoff.

What run off would you recommend

Growers may want to know a little more about your nutes and medium.

I don't use Coco so maybe someone more experienced with that medium can advise.

I'm running organic soil and nutes - my regimen for a plant your size is typically a deep bottom water on saturday - filling the tray with 32 oz letting it soak in, if in 5 min it's soaked in i add another 32oz. Never takes more than 3.
During the week I water from the top, typically around 64 ounces for my 5 gallon pot. Typically once every other day or so, I don't keep track just lift the pot a bit to see if it needs it.

Awesome. Yeah ill give it tonight and then I'll put all the info to see if that helps. I have obviously been watering too much and too often so I think a couple of days it will be fine this only started happening when it started watering twice a day.

I've removed the scrog so its easier to see when I'm watering anyway.

Thanks for the advice

yeah the drooping too me says water-logged, plus it's an open invitation to fungus gnats with that much water

You’re supposed to feed coco with run off daily. Do you grow in coco?
