This is my 1st grow. I'm using a stealth box with a gallon dwc hydro grow. I'm growing an AK-48 plant that for the first ten days was growing great. 3 days ago I started to notice spots on lower leaves. After reading post I realized that I was having nuts deficiencies. That was due to the fact I didn't want to over do it on the nuts fearful I would burn my babie. So I did a flush for a few hours and added the correct amout of nuts to reservoir. After 2 days I was seeing more damage to the lower leaves. So this morning I lowered my water levels bcuz I read somewhere that the roots need to breath and allow some distance between the water line and the bucket. I did that about 12hrs ago however I'm worried that I'm doing something wrong. I really need some help!!!!

u may need more experienced answer but it could be off ph or missing nutes too. the growth on top doesnt look weird. it could feed ing from lower leaves for food. check all bases is best answer. air, lights avail, heat, humid, roots(getting o2 they are prob bigger now) it could be one of a number. the advice i read, while it made sense and then followed was if ur new check it all.

I forgot to add the ph levels are good. I'm thinking it could be the humidity. I will be placing a humidifier in the room tomorrow.

Get Tha aluminum foil out from underneath your plant the light ail reflect off and the aluminum foil can act as a magnifying glass an cause burn spots if you notice there is no sign of a defiencency if there was it would show in the growth of your new fan leaves IMO now I don't have that much experience with MMJ but over 35 years experience growing other plants so I guess you could say I'm a newb to when it comes to MMJ

Okay I'm using GH Flora Series as my nuts. I added 2ml of floragrow 2.5ml of flora micro and 0.5ml of flora bloom about 2 days ago. Which is half of the suggested amount. The ph levels are good and I removed the foil as suggested by melloyello (thanks). My humidity was at 47% at the time I placed a humidifier in the room. My warter temp is 75 degrees and my box temp is around 90degrees. So I removed one of my three bulbs in hopes of possibility lowering the temp of my grow box a little. I do want to add that the roots of my plant are no longer snow white like they once was before. Is this symoths of root rot....

Yes it is change your water an give it a dose of clearex also your roots should only be a quarter of the way submerged your temp is way to high both water and room your water temp should remain between 65 and 70 degrees i would get an extra airstone and throw it in there and your room temp should not get above 85 without proper ventilation

I figured out my problem. Light was getting into my res causing my roots to turn green. So I'm guessing it is alge/fungus. So I blocked all the light from getting to res added 1.0ml of enzymatic concentrate plants looks better only after a few hours. Probably change res on Sunday. I just changed it a few days ago. Will post pics soon. Hopefully my issues are resolved
