Help wiring S&P TD-100 in-line fan

Soler & Palau TD-100

I plan on buying this fan as it's quiet and seems to do everything I would need for a 36"x20" tent. My only problem is that it doesn't come with a plug; I take it that it's supposed to be hardwired in some way or another. Can anyone guide me towards what to do here? I also wanted to have it hooked up to a fan speed controller, but I hear a lot of mixed feelings on ones like the Active Air fan speed controller.

I also found this controller that is distributed by S&P for the TD line, but again I have no idea how one would hook it up.

Yeah, I don't know if that fan is big enough for your space though....I have that in a 24x24 space. I was nervous about wiring it before I purchased it but there are a ton of guides online, Google is your friend. The directions are semi confusing

you need a 110v plug like this https://www.sunlightsupply.com/shop/bycategory/power-and-lamp-cords/power-cords

black= hot or L1
white=common or L2
green=ground
the fan should have these labeled for you to wire into.
then plug other end into speed controller
Thats good sounds easy enough. As for the controller though I'm a little confused. Would there just be a hook up for it in the module that is part of the fan or would it be hardwired like a middle man wired between the module on the fan to the wall outlet?

I can't imagine it wouldn't be enough space 101/97 CFM for a 25.83CF tent. Something important to note: I'll be using two A51 RW-75's so I won't have to deal with nearly as much inefficiency/heat as HPS or the like.

S&P fans are two speed, wire it with a high, low & off toggle switch. that you can mount right on the side of the junction box, then run to a speed controller if needed, but high and low works for me with no hum. keeps my temps cool and air circulated even on low and 3 RW-150's in a 2x4

Good to know that works. What kind of switch are we talking? this?

Oh, and that's a lotta power good for you. How is that working? I'm excited to get my lights hopefully soon.

Thanks for the help so far man, I'm about to order this one because it's prime eligible. Would that suffice? Electricity is not my strong suit...

My fan (S&P TD-125) only has a white and a black wire. Am i able to wire up a high-off-low switch? if so any idea how to connect my power cord (basic 16/3 extension cord) toggle switch, and fan together?

i understand the wiring as:

but i only have common (white) and Hi power (black). Is that right?

your fan is only 1 speed,on or off. you can get a speed controller for it though. https://www.sunlightsupply.com/shop/bycategory/fans-ventilation-ducting/speedster-variable-fan-speed-control

Any chance you figures out how to wire in the switch on the s&p? My fan should be here tomorrow and want to hook it up the same.
