HELP! Wife is vegetarian, need to replace Fish Emulsion with something cheap and eff

I am using a hempy bucket SOG grow. I planned to use a mix of 2 tablespoons fish emulsion, 1 tablespoon molasses per gallon of water.

My wife wants me to find something for nitrogen other than fish emulsion. I would appreciate any suggestions for something vegetarian to go with molasses that would keep my plants happy, and keep my wallet happy.

Thanks for your input, this site is invaluable to newbies like me.

You could go with guano, guano tea to be more specific. ....I am not a big hydro-non soil grower, (I use soil and have limited hydro exp.) so you may want to wait for more input.

very good question,wish i can answear now,i also have a friend that is a caregiver also and hes a vegetarian ,id ask him but hes gone for a week or so.hope someone will help

Anyone else? Just curious, I can always go with some GH nutes, but loved the idea of keeping it dirt ass cheap.

worm castings are a really good source of nitrogen and you can make a tea out of it

Kelp, alfalfa meal and rock phosphate can substitute for organic fish emulsion.

Go with GH. Maxigrow and maxibloom work great and are dirt cheap.

*shakes head*...i would eat a steak...and tell her to deal with it...but thats just me..but i do agree with the worm castings...or would that be a problem too...is worm considered meat?maybe if you own burger king....and might i ask why this is a problem?is she eating the weed?i prefer to just smoke it...im old school i guess

Yep, that's just you. I don't have a problem keeping a smile on my beautiful wife's face, she's worth it. Plus I smelled this fish emulsion stuff and there is no fucking way I want that odor in my shop. I'm going with GH, got a shop a few miles away that sells it, lucky me!

What about fish poo? the hydro store in a nearby metro area has a really cool fish tank ebb and flow system using organic neuts and of course... fish poo. It's pretty cool got the fish tank below and the ebb and flow tub above. Want to build a small one just for a decor piece.
