help! wierd thing growing out of top cola buds

friend of mine requested some help he said hes in his 7th wk of flower and theres a wierd flower/leaves growing out of the top bud ? what is this? still has majority white pistils, time to cut or keep going for another week?

Is it possible there is light leaking in his grow room during the dark period? Pic would be most helpful.

i will get him to take a picture and post it asap, i dont think its an extra bud, ive seen it it looks wierd like another plant is trying to grow out of it and only single leaves no pistils or anything its only about 2cms high ontop of the existing bud so far, bubba kush strain i believe

no extra light is leaking in? pretty sure on that.. although he mentioned hes doing 13/11 cause they werent feeding very well or something could that be an issue?

i had that happen to one of my plants b4.. if its even the same thing.. but i was like 5 weeks into flower and one of my tops started to growing new leafs right out of the top center it was wierd.. i thought i might have pinched the top accidently.. or maybe a hot spot causing stress? iduno but the bud stopped growing from that point on.. post some pics man im currious if its the same thing

well i got some saying hello got about 4 plants doing this same thing
got one that swolled up to a 3 inch wide bud
i thought about making salad out of these fresh green tops with a nice chianti

wtf? well its not mine ill pass the message along but im prety positive its darkness during the other 11 or 12 hrs wierd

what should he do? break that end off? or call it and chop everything down? i think theres 1 wk left to go still lots of white pistils as shown nie.JPG
