Help, When to harvest.

Hi, I'm new here. I have a few questions to experienced growers about when to harvest. Now, I have heard that if you harvest early it is a sativa and if you let it ripen more and harvest later you have an indica ? Is this right ? It seems I always seem to harvest too late. Can that happen ? Does it go from milky white to clear to amber. Is that how it grows ? Is there somewhere I can see some pics ?

when you harvest can change the buzz of it but it doesnt change if its indica or sativa goes clear-milky-amber
