Help!! whats wrong with my plant??

I bealive its a month old since i got from a friend, its 40-50 cm height, I dont know its SEX
its probably a male but i need a experienced person give his opinion,

It also has on the bottom of the plant
a yellow leaf that I read on forum its probably because of lack of nots? food? so my soil must be preatty shity.

I bought a timer and the plant is having 16 hs !!!! of sun per day is it tooo much ???

I give it water once every 2 days since the person that gave to me say so

I will like any advice I will post pictures.

you are watering to much!! that would be my guess... I would also suggest putting under 18 hours of light per day if you are still trying to keep in the veg. state, if flowering put it under 12 hours of light.. that's my two cents!!

Your plant is quite healthy. It doesn't look over-watered one bit, but it definitely needs more light. What do you have it under?

Ill try 18 hours then. I have a low consumption I add a picture of my "system" hehe preaty low budget though

Its impossible to tell at this moment. I have no clue what the wattage is on that cfl, but I know its not enough. Go buy more. You barely have enough to veg your plant. Theres no way you can flower the plant on that much light.

it looks stretched to me what lights are you using and how far is it? but other then that it looks good it doesn't really look over watered

I watered once every 2-3 days

..Did you do any research before actually planting the seed. Im guessing no. Read the faq in the top right of your page. You'll learn alot there.

You still haven't told us the wattage of that bulb.

You cant get rid of the stretch that has occured, but you can help reduce it in the future by getting MORE lights.

It can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 weeks for a plant to show sex. A sativa can take even longer. I had 3 in veg for 1.5 months and didn't show sex. It took 2 almost two weeks of flowering for them to show.

As for flowering, you have to change the light cycle to 12/12. You need to move the plant to somewhere that is lightproof, otherwise its not going to flower correctly or even flower if its getting light during the dark period.

i wouldn't imagine the wattage being more then 65 on that bulb you'll need more bulbs 3 or 4 more bulbs daylight bulbs for veg and soft white (which i'm guessing that one it) for flowering. my plant started autoflowering after about 2 months (i also used mixed spectrum) 4-5 daylight 1 soft white now in flowering 4-6 soft whites and 1 or maybe you could get away with 2 daylight bulbs i'm using one 27w daylight with 5 soft whites watts vary from 42 to 13 you will most likely kill this plant i'm guessing your first grow? and i'm also guessing you didn't research i researched the stuff for a year before i smoked and read on this site all about growing what indica and sativa were and what was the best for them i had one unsuccessful grow cause my dad found it and this one is just about done i LST (low stress trained) this one first one i didn't and it grew amazingly this one it growing great i've got a lot of tops aswell (i FIMmed as well (fuck i missed) it's topping but just a little higher so your not actually cutting it off so it can grow that top and possibly make say 4 more tops hope this helped a little

the way to stop the streching it to have to lights surrounding it from a few inches away i wouldn't put them above cause then it'll continue to grow up and you will have a harder time growing it out and i'd also slightly pinch the bottom of the stem that helps it support itself from when it's so big it can't hold it's self
