Hi people this is my first grow, here is how how i have things set up at the moment

Strain: Super Silver Haze (fem) – grown from seed

Lighting: 1 x 125W Maxibright CFL (6400K Blue) - for veg
1 x 70W HPS - for flowering

Soil: Westland West+ Advanced Compost

Been growing for 4 ½ weeks... and i think it’s dying but i don’t know why. It started off so well!

Started on 24/0 then moved down after about 3 weeks to 18/6

No fan is being used at the moment. I’m gonna install a dual computer cooling fan as an exhaust at the top of the cupboard, and the intake is at the bottom.

Thinking of transplanting to a bigger pot this week and using a different soil... or the same soil but sieve and add some perlite/loam...? and rockdust if i can find some.

I think the problem’s heat stress but i really don’t know because i’ve moved the plants lower but the leaves are still curling at the tips and dying.

I spray the leaves with water just after the lights have gone off - Although i did notice when the kettle was boiling the other day that the tap water i use to spray and water smells very chloriney

Any advice on what to do and how to save them would be much appreciated!

Sorry my friend, no coming back from that now unless a miracle occurs.
U can try to flush it with ph'd water but the plants health is too damaged to be fixed.

Could be the water you were using or it could have been heat stress.
Good luck

Flush the soil with distilled water right now. Then prune some of the dead foliage away. Your young'uns are still photosynthesizing so you may not lose them. Definitely consider a larger pot...soon. Check carefully for root rot when you re-pot...hey that rhymes.

May the force be with you
