HELP! What do I get my man for Christmas?

we haven't ever exchanged gifts with each other (always just bought for our children) and now, this year we decided to. I know he's getting me something nice, probably the heart rate monitor that I've been eyeballing.

I am at a loss. It was his B day earlier this month and I got him some needed wardrobe items. So clothing is out.

All I can think of are practical things like some new running shoes (about as bad as giving a tie). He's got lots of nice knives already...he's not a coffee drinker and just bought some really nice whiskey.

Buy a goat in Africa in his honor? I got nothing.
Get him a gun.

If he likes tools get him a snap on ratchet. They are not cheap by now means, lifetime guarantee. And snap on is the best of the best. All I work with.

$200 for a 1/2in ratchet.

I'm ase certified and only rock snap on. Fuck cheap tools. My scanner with all the keys from snap on was $3000.
hmmm... these have potential

keep 'em coming guys. what else? See, he's not really a gadget guy. I like the knife sharpener idea but he is old school and is always talking about the proper angle of knife sharpening as he sharpens ours on a stone..I wonder if he'd think that was gadgety? You'd think I don't know the man or something.

You say he is an avid fisherman .This is just a thought for another year as the time required to do it, it would not be done for Christmas. During the year sneak a few photos of a prized catch and send it off to a good taxidermist they can do amazing work from a photo the most important part is knowing the length from tip of the nose to end of the tail. girth would be good also but is not needed. they usually charge by the inch $10-20.with a deposit up front My suggestion is to find a good one and talk to them about it if you decided to do that say for next year.
