As far as a controller id hit up mangotech.store and get a trolmaster hydro x controller it will run all your equipment and can monitor from app. (he has best tech support for the product) it will do the same thing as the gavita light controller as far as working as a timer and dimmer. I actually have the gavita light controller and it works great but am looking to upgrade to the hydro x as it controls environment as well. As far as the burner goes I would be set up to vent as you want to be able to remove ethylene gas if it builds up. I used a junction box and cut the plugs off my light cords and hard wired em in. You can get by with de 1000 with 8 foot ceilings as long as you can control your plant height and don't mind being on the floor. You can look at a product called drain away drain trays if you got a lil extra money to spend to deal with run off.
