help topped plant broke off top 2 colas

was wondering what else i can do as I accidently snapped off the top 2 colas on my female plant 20 days into flowering ....i just stuck the broken stems into soil and am keeping moist on same light schedule as for the plant that had it broken off is there anything i should/can do to make sure it lives or is she hooped?

why not just tape them together?

yeah try to tape them back on i agree fully. I wouldn't have put them in soil that's not going to help any.

and lol clean the branches first with water

Edit : did you brake it completely off.. if so you may be-able to clone it?





don't use tape use "twine" or the stem might rot. twine lets the stem still breathe ..

i read a thread about a guy taking a clone from a flowering plant 3 weeks into flowering(21 days) just cut stem at a 45 deg. angle and put some rooting gel on in it and put it in a clone dome it will take about 14 days to root but put the photoperiod back above 12/12 and let it revert back to veg. he says the branching is rediculous with some training ill try to find the post

as far as sitiking it back on if u wait longer then a few hours the stem of the plant will have seald the wound off so try to get it before this happens

If it is still sorta attached it is possible to re GRAFT it.

I use Medical strecthy tape and rooting gel that can be squeezed into a tight bind of the tape. go liberal with the gel and watch in 7 days it will reattach and the bandage must be removed after it heals generally 1 month after sometime longer.

This is only done if it is a bud branch that has snapped around week 5 or later or flowering, because in veg/early flower it is much like pruning and your plant cant just be vegged/flowered past that point to either make new stalks or increase bud weight at other locations.
