Hey guys short and sweet. This is my third grow season but in New England this year sucks, Its 85 one day and 43 the next! I have been bringing my plants inside every time it seems like the temperature will drop. Seems as if each bottom leaf set of my plants are dying. Can someone please give me some insight as to why my new foliage is turning brown and dying when the plants have been growing fine until now? See pics. Thanks so much.

Am i over feeding or is it the temperature and will they recover? I have 3 Auto Flowers for mid summer harvest and the rest are photos for sept. Week by week of this shit weather is costing me $$$ but is the cold temps why these new leaves are all dying? Sorry must have taken pics upside down but just want everyone to see whats happening to the bottom leaves.

Lol, the bottom leaves will naturally die. they are too small and its wasted energy anyway. Once they grow a little taller you can even start cutting off entire sets of fan leaves and small branches from the bottom to promote growth upwards in the plant. You're trippin' about the bottom leaves though, its fine don't worry. Just be careful that your temps don't get too low at night it could cause you problems later.

keep them indoors with 26w cfl over each one at 3" away until the weather gets better, thats what I had to do this year I had the same issue kept raining and cloudy ,I just kept them under cfl until the weather was better
