Help! Seeds Germanated but dried up in clay pellets.

Stay away from RW. Rooters for the win.

Rapid rooters and root riot plugs work great. Don't fall apart but can go straight in compost later. If you want to do one at a time I use a double shot shot glass with plastic wrap on top

i fill up the top container with hydroton, then scoop out a handful or 2 right in the middle and then pop the rooter in the hole and fill around gently with the hydroton.

one thing to keep an eye out for is that the drip ring can/will splash on the seedling, keeping the leaves soaking wet (don't want that) you might need to fashion a splash guard until the seedlings grow above the drip ring.

UPDATE: so I germanated two more seeds. This time I went with Gorilla glue fem.autoflowers. I put them in paper towel and tap rooty popped in 24hrs. Waited another day and transferred to rapid Rooters. Sprout popped overnight on Jan 8th and I took picture. Jan. 9th first set of true leaves came in. On Sun. Jan 12th there 2nd set of true leaves came in and I moved seedling and rapid Rooters to water farm. Since then everything seems to have stopped growing. I am thinking that I may be over watering. I am giving a couple squirts twice a dayjust around the outside of cube on hydro and a squirt or two on sides of cube trying not to spray on plant. Did I place it too soon into water farm? Please help this stupid old pothead.

You need to pour a little water down into the cube. Just take a small bottle or water and pour a little into he cube. I think your root dried out . You do not want your cube to dry out. It’s hard to overwater in hydroton.
