i just put my seedling in my new waterfarm 4 days ago and it seems to be getting worse every day. i put a little nutrients and at first thought it was getting no water because the drip ring was too far but yesterday i remembered that the ph should be lower so today i fixed the ph but idk if that was the only problem it seems pretty bad for my little girl :( does it look like just a ph problem or nute burn too? the water pump is on 24/7 too if that could be the problem i think the plant is getting enough air tho because the roots are in the hydroton. Heres 2 pictures the first one is from 2 days ago and the other one where the ring is closer is from todayIMAG0276.jpgIMAG0280.jpg

dont have a ppm meter but i think i put too much nutrients. i gave it like 10 ml of the floragrow and 10 ml of the flora micro in the 2 gallon res and some h20 suppliment that the hydro store gave me for free for hydro. but after i thought it was nute burn the water lvl was 1/2 down and i just diluted with 1 gallon RO water and phed to 5.8. i guess only time will tell if it gets worse im going to clean out the res and just give water and a lil cal mag for the time being or just give up and start another seed i dont like stress early on it gives bad vibes

yeah i wouldnt even really be giving them nutes yet. maybe quarter strength at most. i would run phd water with some kind of roots excelorater if u can. for about a week till its bigger and strong enough to handle regular nutes. 1/4th strength at most.

alright thanks i think im gonna replace the water with some ro and 1/4 str cal mag and some root accelerator in the water and mabye some of that oxygen booster. is this even enough stress to hurt my yeild at all. i got more seeds and am gonna try to get a pound off this plant so little things like this can make a bigger difference.

dude. give it just phd water with some kind of roots excelorater. it will bounce back. its pretty bad nuterient burn. phd water for the first like almost two weeks after sprout is what i do. then a 1/4 nutes for a week. then 1/2 nutes for a few days then full strengths once its big enough to handle it.

its still super small. as long as u give it the vegg time it should bounce back as long as u keep an eye on the ph and the amount of nutes u give it. beware nutes are good for ur plant to an extent. to much will kill them. just like ph. if its to far off it can burn the hell out of them.
if u have roots excelorater use only that with phd water for about a week. none of the other stuff. change the res water regularly. bout every week.
dont add any nutes or addetives besides the excelorater or anything till the plant is big enough to handle it or u will fry it again.

aight is 5.8 ph good for hydro seedling? and im not sure what its called it was free and new stuff i guess it just makes the water more oxygen rich, its looks like diluted milk with no scent i cant see how it can do any harm to my plant lol

u would be surprised at that size just about everything can harm ur plant. lol. anywhere between 5.5 and 6.5 is nominal for ph. i try to keep mine around 5.8 or so. its hard to tell if it will harm the plant at that size without knowing what it is. check the label and get back to me if u can. ill check in the morning when i get up and thru out the day.
