When the seed sprouts and i put it in the coco plug, does the sprout go up or down?

I believe any and every sprout goes up. The roots are a different story though. Ive had roots come to the surface (wtf) but that was because they were in darkness for 48 hours so I guess they got confused.

When you germinate a seed, the white sprouty looking thing that pokes out is the root. You want this to point down into the soil.
