I am transplanting right now I ripped out roots at the bottom of my container and there were a bunch hanging out of the bottom of the dirt. What should I do??! Will it still live?

It may not even slow down growth, but yeah you'll be fine. Roots are VERY hardy. Think about it. When growing in soil, they have to go through a lot of work to get through the soil, around rocks, or perlite, or parts of soil that may be packed tighter than other areas... It would be great to have been able to see some pics. That would have made it a lot easier to "guess" what's going to happen. But like the other guys said, they'll be fine. They won't die on you and that's most important. and if they do start growing slower at first, don't worry.....as more roots grow, the faster the plants will get back to normal...
