Help required with auto flowering basics

I have a packet of auto flowering blueberry kush seeds...and I was wondering if it was possible to grow one plant in my room, with solely a plant pot, soil, water, the seed and a 1000watt halogen light.

Would it be possible to grow something worth smoking with this basic set up?????

could the potency of the plant be greatly increased by adding some form of nutrients to the soil or water???

AND finally, is it really as simple as plant the seed, give it light, and it will flower when it wants to, if it is going to, at all???

Yes that set up would be fine, auto flowering plants will produce more buds with nutrients but a lot of people think that there is no need for nutrients with auto flowering plants. Just buy mineral water to water them with as the ph is on average 7 and put some reflective material around your plant pot. A 1000 watt bulb would definatly be fine. Leave the lights on for 18 hours a day and then turn them off for 6 hours making sure that no light can reach the plant and that is all you need to do for a simple auto flower grow. Good luck

i'm growing 4 lowryder plants right now and have done alot of reading on auto flowering strains and how they should be grown. ill try to fill ya in
ok so halogen lights really aren't that great for growing bud. they produce way to much heat and don't really have the correct light spectrum the plants need. you should be fine to grow in a pot. thats what i am doing. wait til the plant is about a week old to start giving it grow nutes and only use about 1/2 to 3/4 the amount said on the nutes, as autoflowering plants are very sensative to nutes. switch to bloom nutes around the third week once the plant has showed sex. flush it when you switch from grow to bloom.
