Help!!!! Really!!! Help

any knowledge to this would be really obliged... or you can just throw out ideas and i'll play off of that. thank your very much for your time and consideration to this tragedy on my hands.

ok so i am moving in the middle of september. and from what i can see my plant will be ready to harvest like a day befor i leave town. and i am going to take it with me.
but the point to the Q. is that do any of you know or a way i could take it with me without harming the trichomes. i say the trip to where i am going is about 11 hours driving. and i am going to be on a bus. probably grey hound or some shit.
but do you think if i cut them and get them ready to dry. that i can lay them in a in something so they don't get smashed and put that into vacuum seal bags to that it is air tight and drug dogs can't smell it. that they will last till i get to my new home/grow place??????

Sounds pretty risky....why not harvest early and have the nugs in jars for the trip. Then when you get there burp em and let em cure.

and place your buds in and vacumm the air out should be safe and good then put into brown paper bags wen you get to your new place
then put in jars and cure

A Greyhound terminal is a good place to get up close and personal with k-9s. People are always getting popped trying to carry on busses. Even if you pack in in something air tight, all it takes is for the packaging to have a detectable odor for the dogs to pick you out. If you vacuum pack, it will crush them. Are you having anything moved by a moving company or just packing a suitcase and starting fresh? If you're having a company transport your stuff, Tripple vacuum bag that shit and hide it in something going on the truck.

vaccum packing wont crush the buds just take out enough air as to not completely compact the buds but enough to seal it tight
put in bag of coffee throw off a dogs scent and there arent any dogs in greyhound terminals even in new york or boston

You know what really sux about this whole thing is if you want it to work you will have to stop all smell from being revieled.
The only way to make that happen is to make it air tight. To make it air tight at that stage you make it MOLD.

If you're not removing all the air possible, you're not vacuum packing. Might as well throw it in ziplock bags.

Turkey roasting bags. You can get them at the grocery store. Most people get caught because they touch the buds with their fingers and then touch the outside of the bag. Place the buds in different baggies yourself and have someone else use gloves and dump them into the roasting ziplock bags.

Traveling I always used those and placed them into a box that is gift wrapped. It is the second best thing to burying them into a package of raw hamburger meat.

Just don't touch the herbs and then touch the bag or let the herbs touch the outside of the bag. You might have a better chance of mailing it to yourself than carrying it on a Greyhound.

If you dont cut it early you will arive at your destination with nothing to smoke. If you put it in five hundred different things wrapped in what ever you want and make it airtight it will start condensation in seconds.

It is a form of survival, put plants in plastic bag seal it, and drink the condensation. Left unopen to drain this your weed will be sitting in water whatever it is in.

ok i'm starting frech to bags and i'm gone... andi was going to vacuum pack it a couple times. but i was going to put something and put it sideways to when i vacuum seal it. it won't crush the buds. and it's either the AIRPLANE or bus. and i think it is easier to take a bus and get away with shit than airport security.

shit i just didn't want to crush the trichomes and mess my bud up. and the coffee idea is a good one. i was thinking of just picking up a cheese burger and keep my bud close to that so the dogs get thrown off my the food. what do you think?

maybe i'm just high. but i really couldn't comprehend what you were trying to tell.... think you can elaborate for man homie?

The fresh cut weed has lots of moister in it. The buds will try to expell that moister into the air if there is no place for moister to go it will just start building up inside what ever it is in. cutting it earlyer than you need it will give you time to start the drying. Take a few fresh fan leaves and put in a zip lock and you will see what i mean.

If I was wrong about this there would be people telling us so on this post.

i'm thinking of picking it a day later making a dry box and put it in my closet with a heater with a vent to get the moister out. and keep it in their for30 hrs. then pack it do you think thats is possible to make it their??? i'm just try to pick it at it's best time and still be able to keep my shit. i mean come on i want the best for all the work i have done. i want to reap the rewards to my shit.

I dont think you need a heater but the 30 or more hours drying before you pack it up will help.

you dont hear many people tell you to take the girl early but in this case its the only option.

I think 2 days of grying might get you enough to pack it up. Then you need to open it. as soon as you get where you are going.

No way to postpone trip?

oh man their is a way to postpone the trip. but i'm trying not to man. but it looks like i'm going to have to wait an extra week. i want the best of this plant. i guess i will miss the fiesta week in SF, NM. and just wait for my girl to be 100% ready to pick and dry befor i go. shit is still a lil to far behind to pick her early at that time. i will lose to much potency and energy i puy into that plant but just picking early

so it looks like i will stay till harvest is ready. then pack my shit and leave that week. sound good man?

Mold will not grow in a low oxygen environmental, therefor vacuum packing can eliminate that threat. I would give it a couple days to dry, pack it into tupperware (with holes poked in the lid), and vacuum seal the tupperware container. It will be fine for a day.

damn man thanks. but i found out if i harvest early i will have waisted all my time from this season on some shitty shwagg. so i decided to cancle my trip till end of october right befor halloweed. so i will have the best weed i can possibly get from my plants. and then leave.... butr you think that would be the best and ultimatly most satifieing way to get my money's worth for all my hard work???

anyone else think i'm making the right choice????
