Help! rain problem

so last night it rained... and rained hard...
this morning i went to go check on my plant and the bucket that its in was full of water and the plant look droopy and over watered... i have plenty of holes in it but it still had about an inch of water in it... i pored the water out but do you think it will survive? some of the leaves at the bottom turned yellow... the soil in it is half earth and half potting soil and i think because the earth we have where i live is red clay that thats the reason it didnt let the water through to the bottom... should i just change the soil completely to the potting soil i have?

I would transplant into some good soil like FF and add lots of perlite to the mix. Just my opinion.

yes, any soil with clay in it does no have any drainage, thus why the looked overwatered. it should come out of it once it dries out. depending how big it is, and if you can get it out without screwing with the roots, then I'd transplant into potting, organic,garden, soil for now.

alright well i put it into some nice dry potting soil with some fertilizer 20-5-5.
