I'm up for spending some cash on a good scope guys....Anyone know of a good model/brand that can take good pics. on it's own with out the power needed from the usb to the computer? I just cruised up to the hydro store and the only one they had required power from the usb cord...

When using the Eco scope: dial it all the way up to 100x, take a sample or move your plant away from the HPS, turn on the scope, position your hand on the scope so you can use the focus knob, now push the sample into that plastic guard so it's close to the lens, then dial in the focus. Works every time.

I like to back mine down from 100x a bit before I start this process. Works every time.
