hey this is one of my babies that I grew from seed. The rest I have are clones and they are doing well. I give them all the same amount of nutes and I regulate my ph. I also testing NPK and all are ate surplus level. Now this baby(her name is Elisa) is budding nicely I mean real nice. But i look at the leaves and think oh no something is wrong. Anyone have anyIdeas? I think I tried everything. I have also tested the soil. Waitint to hear from anyone. thnx~

p.s. the leaves are curling under and some of them are getting like brownish etching on them and drying out................I wasnt sure if the pics would show that. I can also take more pics if needed.

i would say that looks like nutes burns/damn big pH problems to me... which now would be odd since you state that you check frequently...

Looks like a blueberry/berry relative to me, kp. Whatcha think?

I say this because the Blues are very sensitive to nutes...and that claw goin on there looks like over-ferting to me. Kinda looks a bit mutated here/there.. and that is also a trait of the BB lines.

The browning leaves may also just be the way the strain loses it's chlorophyll....but it looks more like a mg defieciency to me.

It looks like it's time to water it... I would go with plain water and see what happens in a day or so...and then..if i thought the spots were progressing...I'd give her a shot of water made with a tsp of epsom salts in a gallon of water. This will give em some mg and nothing else...and then ya again wait for a few days and watch for results.

NO WAY I'd give anymore nutes for a few weeks. If they're curling..they have a bunch nutes in em that need to run out...

What kinda tester are you using that says "surplus" levels...etc. ??? What kinda Ph tester?

just my $.02...

good luck

if you easy on water normally, so not even get into a range where over-watering could occur, to cut this out as reason, you my flush the soil out with water. that would take care of salts build up in your soil - that because that would make the pH drop and cause such pH burns. it would also take care of too much nutes in the soil which is a factor leading to salt build-up.

ok no mites and I just started the ph and nutes testing I am using foxfarm tiger bloom 1 teaspoon to a gallon. Now before I started testing my water the ph was 4.2!@!!!!!! So now with nutes in I got it to 6.0-6.5 The bids are realy shiny and crystaly and smells goos but I just think the poor baby can be so much more
I will stop the nutes and photo dairy this to see what happens thnx

oh and the temp with lights on is 75 and with lights out it gets to like 69

I have an airconditioner so I can regulate all that. But the thing is my clones are on the same everything and they look great.

The clones look OK because they may have yet to hit the same point where toxicity occurs. Just a thought...if they are the same plant..i'd just watch it and probably would only go 1/2 on the nutes..or less. She'll bud and do better if she isn't stressed from nutes..believe me.

The pH problem may also be the culprit here. you watered with "X" amount of nutes..but because the Ph was fucked..some of those never were absorbed. when you righted the pH to 6.0...thew nutes that were in the soil sitting there...unused...suddenly became available...and BAM...all were delivered at once. This is another reason I'd back off and let her have a fesh water drink for awhile.

My guess? She will right herself w/ plain water and will EXPLODE into bud growth within 2 weeks....

good luck

I'm interested to see the outcome of this...as my plant is doing the curling thing right now also and flowering real nice.

i would use plain water until you see improvement; this blueberry in the pic never righted herself; she stayed that way all the way through, no matter what i tried.

Perhaps the clones havn't reached the toxic point of too much nutes. I'd reduce the amount of nutes your giving to your clones to maybe 3/4 or 1/2 if the nutes was the problem with your original plant.

If it was overwatering, then reduce your cycle. Most plants need water every three days to replenish their supply.

well water needs are a question of grow mediums used, if it is pure soil it can hold a lot, if it is mixed with expanded clay even more, perlite reduces this as sand does, but nutes can build up in perlite and it needs a lot sand to lighten soil. and in addition is a matter of size too, as in terms of container volume and plant size, a big container will store more then a smaller one and a big plant will use up more:)

best way with soil is still to plainly check before and after watering the soil with your finger, that cuts all trouble if you finger not happen too be numb from been to stone as me:mrgreen:
