HELP Plants Turnin' Colors And Falling Over

whats up guys, well this is my first attempt ever to growing i have three plants a a couple of problems... well first off il let you know im growing them in soil, and have yet to add any nutes to them at all. My first plant is 3 weeks out of the dirt tomorrow and the other two are a couple days behind it. the problem my first plant the biggest one in the middle is turning brown, yellow, the leaves are curling and are plain out dying. The problem i am having with the other two plants are the same but not as bad but they were starting to fall over. so i put a pencil in the soil to have a post for it and tied it to it gently to get them to grow back up over a few days.. check out my pics and let me know what you think.. oh yeah and i also have had a small cup of water in the box with the plants to keep moisture in the box but i think that may be the problem along with maybe some heat

the one in the coffee can looks to me like to much food for a start. Leaves are also cupping down, a little to wet. Do you have holes in the bottom of the can?

Less food and water. Let the mixture dry out a little. Use a moisture meter. Get it @ Wallmart.

Peace

thanks bro, and yes i have holes on the bottom of the can aswell as the other two. and i havent fed the plants any nut's so your saying there getting to much food from the soil?

I have to respectfully disagree with woods. Your plants are suffering due to lack of nutes. Your plants look like they might be sativa dominant. Sativa dominant strains require less fertilizer. So in a sense woods is also correct. I would start feeding them 1/2 str nutes. plus it wouldnt hurt to get some more light in the grow box.

THis is my opinion drawing upon my experiences growing. I hope this helped.

I'm going to ask you this, what kind of soil are you using? If it's a thick soil check your drainage if you're soil isn't draining mix perlite and verm in it you want nice airated soil if it's heavy. Also if you are using a soil that's not organic and PURELY organic you could be lacking nutes.

Tell us what kind of soil it is

This is what Jeorge Cervantes says about potting soil in his book

"Potting soil fresh out of the bag often fulfills all requirements for a growing medium: texture that allows good root penetration, water retention and drainage; a stable pH between 6 and 7; and a minimum supply of nutrients. The best choice is a premium fast-draining soil with good texture that will not break down quickly."

I would think about mixing in about 10 to 15 percent of perlite and some form of micronutrient and trichoderma bacteria that causes roots to absorb nutrients better.

This is just my opinion drawing from my experience with growing.
