leaf curl.jpg My leaves are curling down BAD on 2 of my plants. They are in fox farm ocean forest with peat added. They are under a 600w HPS. I have a rapitest digital ph meter and it jumps from 5.5-6.5 depending on where and how deep I put the meter. Any suggestions?:wall:

maybe give them a good flush to get all your water even, and then tomorrow or maybe even two days from today, give them their nuts if your feeding them. if your PH is that far off, you may be getting some lock out at certain levels of the pot. just an idea. they dont look bad though. your new growth looks great. you might have shocked them a little earlier in life, which is why the lower leaves dont look the way you want them. but a good flush wont hurt anything. and it lets you start over again with their feeding schedule.

thanks just flushed them. One of them had rust colored drainage and the other was clear, what's up with that?

not sure, i would keep fluhing until you see clear. starting from ground zero is key here. after flushing, you will see your plants droop, and look sad, but its normal. its just how they react to to much water. but they will open up, and start to drink in a hurry and get rid of all that moisture.

Just like he said you should drain them and then maybe stop watering for 2-3 days and then see what happens, they might go back to normal, other than that they look great man.

that didnt even look like burn or lockout. It looked like wilting from heat or overwatering. : /

The new growth looks better after the flush and the curled leaves are not as crispy anymore. I just picked up some ph up and down so I think I'm all set. Thanks guys
