HELP!! Plant Problems..

so here is the deal, Some of my leaves are displaying huge brown spots and discoloration. They are also not growing in height, only in girth. I'm re-posting this with better pics. my food was at 500 ppm, I just did a two day flush with clean water now i'm at 200 ppm. Under a 600w MH hydro / aero system. 5.8ish ph. What's wrong do you guys think? and how can I correct the problems.

What is the temp of the solution? lots better pics BTW.

my solution hovers between 70 and 80F.

Isn't that warm for hydro? I am unsure for aeroponics.

yeah it's on the warm side, I'ts kind of a hydro Aero hybrid. you think getting that temperature down would help?

It looks to me like a ph problem.

How often do you change your water. If you change it once a week the warm water temps dont seem to have as much of a affect on the plants.

Do you use tap or distilled water?

hey guys, I use tap water for the grow, however, I have had a few grows with the same water and no problems. I suppose I can just drop some ice in my res once a day to help cool it down. I change my water about every two weeks normally, but lately it's been one week to try to keep a balance. I just checked, and have now changed my nutrient balance from almost even across the board (General hydro micro, bloom, and Grow) to a more aggressive grow formula (more grow half micro and just a smidgen of bloom) I was thinking the stunting might be from a phosphorus deficiency. I'm also now trying a 30 min on 30 min off for half of the day watering system. Am i making too many changes? is what I'm doing not going to help, whadda you guys think?

You're using tap water, eh?

You are most likely experiencing a Magnesium deficiency caused by high concentrations of calcium in tap water. Add about 1-2 teaspoons epsom salt per gallon of water.

Don't expect those leaves that are already necrotic to get much better looking, though. New growth will stay green.

that doesnt look like a mg deficiency. real simple-they are way too young for 500 ppms. nuteburn,lockout-

alight, thanks for the info. I'll bring em down to about 150 ppm, I'm moving my light up a little higher, and I'll buy myself some epson salts to have around just in case. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll re-post in a week after making some changes.

also important as the others have mentioned is res temps. 60-65 degrees will hold almost double the dissolved 02. should never go above 75 and never ever never go above 80. That with high ppms will fry your plants like they are starting to. U can tell when they are getting too much before nute burn begins as the large older fans will really darken to a deep green and not the healthy lighter green seen on the new growth. some strains more than others. the easiest way to bring the temp down is to set up a fan blowing over or into the res-will lower up to 10 degrees. also, when you top off, add very cold water.
