I have a plant that is flowering under 18 hours, it is the only plant that has done this. I'm not sure of the strain but I'm sure it's not a autoflower. Has anyone ever came across this? I'm running 600 watts mh and 400 watts hps the plants are in soil. Thanks guys

Would you bet your life it's not an auto? If it's not an auto and is flowering at 18 hours.. the genetics are completely fucked up on it, and I wish you plenty of luck - to get a better yield, might as well run it 20/4

The reason I say it's not a autoflower is because I started it outside January 11th it was growing good for two weeks and then we got a cold front it stopped growing I didn't care about it because I didn't know the strain it was from a seed someone left over, it sat outside for 2 months without growing further. I brought it inside and it just took off. So the plant is nearly 3 months old so if it was a auto why now? Plus I'm growing some autos now and this plant seems genetically different from all the rest.

Without pictures we can't be sure what you are seeing. Sometimes newbies (like me), mistake pre-flowers for flowering. It's normal for regular photo-period plants to show their sex when they are ready to flip to flower. But this isn't actual flowering. But this is just another guess. How about some images? Maybe we could help more.

Good point curious, if that is the case (which I hope it is) can I keep vegging it for another 5-6 weeks? I am a newbie too so chances are I'm incorrect, I tried taking pics but they didn't show up well ill try again tomorrow, but thinking about it more I'm sure your correct because what I'm seeing is along the main stem

I'm guessing the cold weather triggered it(possibly some auto genes in it) or it may just be preflowering, showing sex. Photos would be nice to be able to see if it's full-blown flower stage or just showing sex by preflowering.

It could be the strain, genetics and where its from can trigger it to flower running less than 18 hrs of light. 12/12 is not golden some strains will flower at 8 hrs of dark

Thetime outdoors has forced it to flower and now it's trying to reveg. if you give it a few weeks it should reveg properly :)
