Im currently using CFL lights but i heard the orange light spectrum helps a lot during flowering so i thought if i should switch to flood lights instead of still using CFL..
The orange color off ur floodlight dont mean shit put plenty actual watt cfl 2700 range.

your buds would be bigger if you had HPS lights. Those CFL lights are light trying to grow with a big candle. Yea it has light but not a powerfull light.

I agree that CFL's can be a good way to grow. But he will need more of them . My son did a CFL grow and I was very impressed with results.

Anybody generally know which week bud forms? Mine is a heavy indica on its 5th week/firstday but all i see are heavy amounts of pistils but no bud formation.. And is it better to change my lighting from CFL to Flood lights (have them in my household) since im in flowering? because of the orange spectrum.. The buds usually will start to form 2-3 weeks into flowering unless your growing a ruderalis strain then they will usually start showing buds around 4-6 weeks after they have been planted. By week 5 you should have a lot more growth then you have in the pics.

1. did you start from seed?
2. are they are ruderalis "Auto flowering" strain?
3. how many CFL's are you using and what light spectrum?
4. what is the total actual wattage of each CFL? Not the BS equivalent wattage. IE. Standard 100w replacement CFL is usually using about 23-27 actual watts. Look on the base of the bulb’s for the actual wattage.

Hi there, I'm a newbie but are u sure Ur dark light schedule isn't being interupted? No light is getting in? Of course, better lighting us going to do wonders too. Good luck

did you start counting when you first switched 12 on 12 off? you should count it by when the pistils starts showing and a mh/hps conversion light would help alot.
